Hippies Infiltrate the Political Class

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs got himself in some hot water this week by calling leftwing Democrats “crazy”, and saying that they all should be drug tested. The implication, I assume, is that Obama’s radical left supporters are a bunch of pot smoking ex-hippies.

Well, my curiosity was aroused. So I searched the photo archives of the Weather Underground and Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) for any evidence of anti-social behavior among the political class in their earlier days. After all, these are serious accusations. What I found (see picture below) was absolutely shocking. Shocking, I tell you!
